About Me (Well… “Us”)

Hi, I’m Daria - the creative mind behind BYDP Production. I wear many hats: photographer, filmmaker, planner, art director, marketer - and always your biggest supporter when it comes to bringing a vision to life.

While BYDP Production is mostly a one-person show, I regularly collaborate with a close-knit team of trusted photographers and videographers, depending on the scale and needs of the project.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, launching a bold brand campaign, or looking for impactful social media content, I have everything in place to bring your vision to life - seamlessly and stress-free.

Let’s create something meaningful, beautiful, and a little bit magic - together.

For Those Who’d Like to Know Me Better

Hi, I'm Daria Prykolota, and this is my creative space.

My love for photography began when I was 14, snapping “masterpieces” on my phone from the back of the classroom. My classmates joked, “Look, she thinks she’s a photographer!” Well... turns out, I was. One summer break, I locked myself in a room and taught myself Photoshop in three months (which, back then, felt like discovering a whole new language of creativity). From that moment on, I never stopped learning - and haven’t looked back since.

Although life first led me down a different path, I earned a degree in choreography in Ukraine. It may not seem directly connected to photography and films, but in truth, it’s the perfect match. As a choreographer, you tell stories, through movement, light, music, and emotion. You have to create something that resonates. That same instinct now fuels how I approach film and photography: it’s all about telling a story.

My creative journey took me to China, where I worked as a choreographer at Hengdian World Studios - often called “China’s Hollywood” - the country’s largest film studio, operating 24/7. Alongside film production, the studio grounds hosted at least ten wedding photo shoots a day. Being immersed in that constant creative energy and vibrant wedding culture sparked a deeper passion for visual storytelling, and I gradually fell further into the world of photography. European-style wedding shoots - especially those inspired by iconic locations like Paris - were a major trend at the time. After four unforgettable years, I moved to the Netherlands to launch my own wedding photography company, hoping to attract Chinese couples to Europe for their dream wedding photo shoots.

In a moment of bold optimism (or branding confusion?), I named it Ouzhou Hunli, meaning “European Wedding” in Chinese. Let’s just say... Europeans were a bit confused. Lesson learned!

Then COVID happened. The world paused - but new beginnings followed. I moved to Luxembourg, rebranded with a slightly easier-to-pronounce name (BYDP Production – By Daria Prykolota), and rebuilt with a clearer vision than ever.

Weddings remain at the heart of what I do - not just as a business, but as something truly meaningful. I’m deeply emotionally invested in every couple’s story, sharing in their excitement, nerves, and joy. My goal is to capture every moment with honesty and artistry - every happy second they experience, preserved with care.

Beyond weddings, I also enjoy working on commercial, lifestyle, and food photography. Yes, I shoot food too (and no, I don’t eat it on set... unless it’s really tempting). Huge thanks to Concept and Partners for giving me my first delicious opportunity in food photography - it’s now one of the most flavorful chapters of my journey.

So, welcome to my creative world. Here you’ll find my work, my story, and maybe even a little inspiration. I believe in real emotion, honest storytelling, and always growing through what I create.

Thanks for being here - I hope my work speaks to you.
